What is a dress hire service?
A dress hire service allows you to rent designer dresses for a fraction of the retail price for a specified period.
How does the dress hire process work?
Browse our collection online, select the dress and size you want, choose your hire period, and place your order. The dress will be available for pick up with information sent via email. After your event, return the dress to our home studio in Upper Mt Gravatt.
Why should I hire a dress instead of buying one?
Hiring a dress is cost-effective, eco-friendly, and offers you the opportunity to wear a variety of designer dresses without the commitment of purchasing!
Ordering and Pick Up.
How far in advance should I book my dress?
We recommend booking your dress at least two weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons. Make sure to check whether your dress is available via the calender showing the available booking dates.
e.g If your event is on September 17th, we recommend booking from the 15th-18th.
Can I try on a dress before hiring it?
Yes, we offer a try-on service.
What if the dress doesn't fit or I don't like it?
We offer a store credit for all hires.
How long is the hire period?
Our standard hire period is 4 days. Extended hire periods are available at an additional cost. Please get in touch so we can accommodate your request!
Payments and Refunds
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal.
Do you require a bond?
Yes, we require a $50 bond on all orders that are refunded once the dress is returned on time in good condition.
What is your refund policy?
All orders are non-refundable. If you change your mind or no longer want to hire the piece we offer a store credit and exchange. You can exchange for a dress of the same monetary value and the excess value will not be refunded.
Returns and Damages
How do I return the dress?
Simply place the dress in the bag and return it to our home studio in Upper Mt Gravvat on the 4th day of hire by 4pm.
What happens if I return the dress late?
Late returns will incur additional fees per day. Please refer to our terms and conditions for detailed information.
What if the dress is damaged or stained?
Minor wear and tear are covered by the rental fee. For significant damage or loss, you may be charged a repair or replacement fee and your bond will not refunded.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Do I need to clean the dress before returning it?
No, we take care of all the cleaning. Simply return the dress as it is after your event.
What if I accidentally stain the dress?
Most stains can be removed during our professional cleaning process. If the stain is severe, there may be an additional fee.
